Nissan Launches the All-New X-TRAIL in India at starting price of ₹49.92 lakhs

Nissan has introduced the X-Trail SUV in India, priced at Rs 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This marks a significant milestone in Nissan’s strategy, bringing the fourth-generation X-TRAIL, made exclusively in Japan, to the Indian market. The launch aims to set a new benchmark for premium urban SUVs, focusing on refined driving experiences, Japanese craftsmanship, and versatile space utilization.

The Nissan X-TRAIL is a global success, available in over 150 markets and boasting sales of over 7.8 million units. Frank Torres, Divisional Vice President of the AMIEO Region Business Transformation & President of Nissan India Operations, highlighted India's strategic importance to Nissan and the role of the X-TRAIL in the company’s new brand strategy for the region.

Nissan X-Trail Specification and Features

The new X-TRAIL features a 1.5L Three Cylinder Petrol Variable Compression-Turbo engine paired with Nissan’s ALiS Mild Hybrid 2WD system, delivering a power-packed and fuel-efficient performance. It offers innovative technology such as the VC-Turbo engine, which varies the compression ratio for optimal performance and efficiency, and the ALiS mild hybrid system, enhancing fuel economy and reducing emissions.

The SUV's modern design includes signature elements like a floating roof and V-motion grille. The premium interior boasts ergonomic features, a 7-seat layout, and advanced safety technologies. Available in Champagne Silver, Pearl White, and Diamond Black, bookings begin today, with deliveries starting in August 2024.
