Though none of these cars were able to get the Nissan on a stage where Nissan Magnite took it.
Nissan Magnite is a new vehicle which proved to be an excellent vehicle for entry level SUV buyers. It has been in demand since its launch and now it has a waiting period of as long as 6 months. Nissan Magnite prices are seeing a hike for the 3rd time since its launch in December 2020.
Unlike the previous time when the turbo variants received a price hike due to overwhelming demand, this time the big price hike happened with the non-turbo variants of upto Rs. 33,000 while the turbo variants are now dearer by upto Rs. 20,000.
Nissan Magnite is powered by two petrol engines. The first one is a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre engine that churns out 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque. The other one is a 1.0-litre turbo engine which churns out 100PS of power and 160Nm of torque. Both the engines are paired to a 5 speed manual transmission while the turbo variant is available with a CVT as well.
Nissan Magnite shares its platforms and engines with Renault Kiger which launched a few days back. This new car looks bolder yet similar to the Renault Kwid which is successfully rolling on Indian streets.
