Royal Enfield is developing electric two-wheelers, and the first image of its first electric motorbike idea has surfaced on the Internet. The new EV bike, internally dubbed the 'Electrik01,' features unusual aesthetic aspects.

The leaked image depicts the front suspension, which has a unique girder fork. The product brief for the new EV includes phrases like "non-conformist," "game changer," and "lone wolf." The commercial version of the motorbike is believed to include the distinctive girder fork configuration.

The motorbike will be designed with neo vintage/classic aesthetics and high-quality tactile finishes and contact points. The girder fork was popular in the early part of the previous century, confirming that the bike will have a throwback vibe. The motorcycle has a classic round headlight and a standard 'fuel tank.'

The motorcycle also has a distinct chassis, with two frame tubes protruding from either side of the headstock. One frame tube runs along the top of the fuel tank, while the other runs downward and holds the battery pack. The motorcycle has alloy wheels wrapped in Avon Roadrider tyres.

The image suggests that the production version of the Road Enfield electric motorbike will be available in the near future. The motorbike is still in its early stages of development, as RE referred to it as a QFD (Quality Function Development) idea. Before launching the motorbike in India, Royal Enfield spent a significant amount of time road testing it. According to the strategy, the electric bike might take much longer to build before coming on sale in India.
