Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 launch price, Specification and features

With the introduction of the new Super Meteor 650 today, Royal Enfield will refresh its offering in India.

The Chennai-based two-wheeler company has announced an upcoming event that would start at 7:30 pm on this day, January 16, 2023, on its YouTube account.

The 2022 Royal Enfield Rider Mania in Goa hosted the unveiling of the India-specific model back in December of the previous year, and we have already published the first look review of this new 650cc cruiser motorbike.

Super Meteor 650 Price

Global sales of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 have begun. In India, prices begin at 3.48 lakh ex-showroom.

Super Meteor 650 Astral: Rs. 3.48 lakhs (Ex-Showroom)

Super Meteor 650 Interstellar: Rs. 3.63 lakhs (Ex-Showroom)

Super Meteor 650 Celestial (Tourer): Rs. 3.78 lakhs (Ex-Showroom)

Beginning today, customers can reserve the motorcycle at dealerships.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 variants and Colors

The Super Meteor 650 and Super Meteor 650 Tourer are the two variations of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 that are offered. A windscreen, pillion backrest, and a touring seat are included as standard equipment with the tourer model.

Three sub-variations are further separated from the two main variants. While the Super Meteor 650 Tourer is only offered in the Celestial trim, the Super Meteor 650 has two separate sub-variants, Astral and Interstellar.The sole difference between the sub-variants is the motorcycles' colour.

Five colours are available for the Super Meteor 650: Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, and Interstellar Grey.

Contrarily, the Super Meteor 650 Tourer comes in two colour schemes: Celestial Red and Celestial Blue. White serves as the secondary colour in the Celestial colours, which are dual-toned by default.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Features and Specifications

Both standard and tourer models will have the same mechanical features and be driven by a 648cc, parallel-twin, air-cooled motor.

This motor, when connected to a six-speed transmission, has a maximum power of 46.2 bhp and a maximum torque of 52 Nm.

The Super Meteor 650 will receive a different engine map and different ratios even though the engine is the same as the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650.

In the Indian market, the motorcycle will be up against rivals like the Kawasaki Vulcan S and the Benelli 502 C. The Super Meteor 650 should, however, be priced by Royal Enfield competitively and at a considerably lower range than the competitors described above.

Numerous additional features are included with the Super Meteor 650. It comes equipped with aluminium wheels, USD forks, LED headlights, an LCD display, movable clutch and brake levers, tripper navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port, etc. On a Royal Enfield, the majority of these characteristics are novel.
