Tata Motors Extends Support to Customers Affected by Cyclone 'Michaung' Flooding

Tata Motors, a leading automotive manufacturer, expresses solidarity with its customers affected by the aftermath of the Cyclone 'Michaung' in Tamil Nadu and parts of Andhra Pradesh. To ease the challenges that are faced by the customers during these difficult times, Tata Motors has also implemented a comprehensive service plan covering its passenger vehicles and electric vehicles range.

Service Program Rolled Out:

Extension of Service Periods and Warranty:

To ease the burden on the customers dealing with challenges of vehicle maintenance, Tata Motors is extending the Standard warranty period, annual maintenance contract period, and free service periods for the vehicles in the affected region. This extension also applies to the contracts that expire between 01.12.2023 to 15.12.2023 and it will be valid until 31.12.2023.

Dedicated Emergency Road Assistance Team:

A dedicated emergency road assistance team has been established to systematically handle the cases, prioritizing them based on the call dates of the customer and the accessibility of the areas. This ensures a streamlined response to the unique needs of each of the affected customers.

Tata Motors has also activated a 24 X 7 helpdesk that’s reachable at 1800-209-8282 for assisting the customers in distress. The helpline serves as a central hub for the emergency assistance, offering timely support.

Free Towing Assistance:

The customers can also avail for towing support to the nearest dealerships, providing a crucial lifeline during these challenging times that is free of cost. Additionally, the company has also immediately deployed Flatbed Trucks, Under Wheel Lifts, and more of the towing vans for enhancing the on-ground resources, reinforcing the commitment for providing a robust towing assistance.

Acknowledging the time required for the recovery process, the Tata Motor’s support initiatives will remain available until 31.12.2023. This extended timeline also ensures that all the affected customers have ample opportunity to benefit from these services.
