Tata Motors Reports October 2023 Sales of 82,954 Units

The passenger vehicle sales, including EVs, of Tata reached 48,337 units against 45,217 units in October 2022, registering 7% annual growth, the automaker stated in its regulatory filing.

Tata Motors also announced a 28% sales growth for electric passenger vehicles, including Nexon EV, summing at 5465 units when combining sales figures of domestic and international markets. In contrast, the electric passenger vehicle sales in October 2022 were registered at 4,227 units.

The automaker sold 300 units under the PV IB segment against 206 units last year, a whopping increase of 46%. Talking about commercial vehicles, the automaker registered a 4% sales increase in October 2023 to 34,317 units against 32,912 units in October 2022. The combined sales of MH&ICV Domestic and International Business, including trucks and buses, reached 16,048 units compared to 13,940 units in October 2022.
