Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and Hyundai Creta have dominated the sales charts in recent months.
Despite the great demand, India's best-selling SUV, the Tata Nexon, has a 7-week waiting list. The manual variations of the subcompact SUV are expected to be delivered within 3-4 weeks, while the automated models will take 5 to 7 weeks. In some places, the new Maruti Brezza is now on backorder for up to 9 months. Several of its versions are subject to a 7-month waiting period.
Tata Nexon Waiting Period

The Tata Nexon is powered by a 1.2L turbo petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine. While the gasoline engine produces 118bhp and 170Nm of torque, the diesel engine produces 108bhp and 260Nm of torque. The subcompact Vehicle is available with either a 6-speed manual or an AMT transmission.
Maruti Brezza Waiting Period

The new Maruti Brezza comes with a 1.5L K15C petrol engine that is supplemented by mild hybrid technology. The motor has a maximum power output of 103bhp and a torque output of 137Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, while the top three models include a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
Hyundai Creta Waiting Period

The Hyundai Creta diesel models (E, EX, and S) will be available in 6 to 7 months, while the S+ and SX (O) automatic variants will be available in 6 months. The SX model has a waiting period of about 5 months. The Creta petrol versions have a 7-month waiting period. Although the SX (O) iVT will be available 5 months after booking, the E version would have to wait up to 4 months. The waiting period for the EX and SX iVT models is around 3 months.
