Tata Tiago EV bookings will be available from October 10 at noon for Rs 21,000, and delivery will start in January 2023. By the end of December, test drives for the EV hatchback, which starts at Rs 8.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.79 lakh, will be available.

The EV hatchback is scheduled to start shipping in January 2023, and according to Tata, production of the larger 24kWh battery has been given priority. Our dealer sources claim that the top-spec XZ+ Tech Lux is the most popular model, and Teal Blue and Pristine White are the most popular colour choices. More than 500 unauthorised reservations for the Tiago EV have reportedly been made in Mumbai and the nearby areas, according to sources.

Currently, the Tiago EV is India's most cheap electric vehicle. The first 10,000 customers will only be able to purchase the vehicles at the introductory prices, of which 2,000 will be Tata Nexon EV and Tata Tigor EV customers.

The Tiago EV is powered by Tata's Ziptron high-voltage design and comes with two battery packs, each with a 250km and 315km MIDC range. Its electric engine delivers 61 horsepower and 110 Nm with the smaller battery pack and 74 horsepower and 114 Nm with the larger pack.

The Tata's new and most affordable EV in India has rapid charging capabilities, and a 50kW fast charger can charge both battery packs from zero to eighty percent in 57 minutes. The Tiago EV's higher models come with with features including leatherette upholstery, automated headlights, TPSM, and rain-sensing wipers.
