Let's be honest: Toyota's premium line of vehicles is more expensive than average. The Hilux is a prime illustration of that. But, in an unexpected move, Toyota India has reduced the cost of its pickup vehicle to make it a more affordable choice. Yet the top-end trims have witnessed a price increase, thus the price reduction only applies to the base trim.
Toyota's lifestyle pickup truck, the Hilux, has sexy exterior styling and a durable chassis. It receives the 204 Hp, 2.8-liter diesel engine from the Fortuner, together with either a torque converter automatic transmission or a six-speed manual transmission. Check out our in-depth "variants explained" story, in which we describe the features that each trim of the Hilux gets, to learn more about all of its features

The STD MT previously came at a price of 33.99 lakhs but not it will cost 30.40 lakhs, and The High MT Variant came at a price of 35.80 lakhs and now it will cost 37.15 lakh, finally the High AT Variant which came at a price of 36.80 lakhs now it will cost 37.90 lakh. So here's the twist where the STD model gets a huge discount but the other model's increase the price very high. As you can see above, the base STD trim is now a stunning Rs 3.59 lakh less expensive (ex-showroom). The higher-end High trims, on the other hand, have increased in price by up to Rs 1.35 lakh. With this change, there is about a Rs. 7 lakh pricing difference between the two trims.
