Bajaj is set to open 120 Triumph showrooms in India by March 2024, following the huge demand for the Speed 400 bike. Discover how the company is expanding its Triumph range and outlets in the country.

Speed 400 Success Leads to Triumph Showrooms Expansion in India

The Triumph showrooms network in India is set to grow rapidly in this fiscal year, as Bajaj aims to have around 120 outlets across the country by March 2024.

Speed 400 Launch and Response

The company has launched the Speed 400, a competitively priced bike at Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the first 10,000 bookings, which will then go up to Rs 2.33 lakh. The bike has received an overwhelming response, with 10,000 bookings in just a few days.

New Outlets and Bike Range

To cater to the high demand, Bajaj will need to increase its Triumph showrooms, which are currently very few in number. The new outlets will be located not only in the metro cities, but also in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.

The upcoming Triumph showrooms will be smaller than the existing ones, but will have enough room to display the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400X, as well as some bigger Triumph models. Customers in India will also be able to book larger Triumph bikes like the Tiger, Street Triple and Rocket 3 through these outlets.
