TVS Teases 310cc Naked Bike and Robin Scrambler in India

TVS is getting ready to introduce numerous latest models in the quarter-litre motorcycle segment. The national two-wheeler giant flaunted the factory-custom TVS Ronin SCR (Scrambler) at the latest edition of TVS MotoSoul. We are hopeful that the company could launch the Ronin-based Scrambler in the Indian Market.

But according to reports, TVS is developing two new motorcycles based on the Apache RR 310. Later this year, the company might introduce the Apache RTR 310, a naked motorcycle, to our market.

Also, it has been said that TVS is developing a brand-new adventure motorcycle just for the Indian market. The Apache RR 310 platform, which also supports the BMW G310 GS adventure, will serve as the foundation for the new motorcycle.

The upcoming TVS Apache RTR 310 will compete against the KTM Duke 390, while the adventure bike will be positioned against the KTM ADV 390, RE Himalayan and the BMW G310 GS. A 312.2cc single-cylinder reverse-inclined liquid-cooled engine that produces a maximum of 34PS of power and a maximum of 27.3Nm of torque will power the new motorcycle. Dual-channel ABS will be included with it as standard.

This new Ronin-based motorcycle is probably a soft scrambler and will not be similar to the Ronin SCR which was flaunted at Motosoul 2023 in Goa. The new Scrambler is updated with some new designs. A 225.9cc single-cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox powers the Ronin. This engine has the ability to produce 20.1bhp at 7,750rpm and a maximum torque of 19.33Nm at 3,750rpm.

Moreover, TVS Motor Corporation intends to enter the 600cc-750cc motorbike market. The company is developing a new motorcycle with a twin-cylinder configuration and a larger engine capacity. According to reports, the new TVS 650cc motorcycle would produce power close to 47bhp and 52Nm of torque.
