Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has expanded its lineup with the launch of the GT DSG variant of the Virtus sedan. Priced at ₹ 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom), the Virtus GT DSG aims to carve a niche for itself in the Indian car market, having garnered attention since its official debut in June 2022.

Impressive Performance and Fuel Efficiency

The Virtus GT DSG is a powerhouse, boasting 148 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm, positioning it as one of the most powerful offerings in its segment. Additionally, Volkswagen claims an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 19.62 kmpl, making it an attractive choice for those seeking both power and economy.

Two Variants, One Technology

The Volkswagen Virtus is available in two main variants: Dynamic and Performance Line, both harnessing the advanced TSI technology from the brand. The Dynamic variant houses a 1.0-litre TSI engine, giving out 111 hp and a maximum torque of 178 Nm. This variant offers the choice between a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic torque converter.
