Volkswagen's global shipments in January–June increased 12.8% year-on-year, while imports in China decreased 1.2% year-on-year. BEV shipments to China fell 1.6%, while shipments to North America fell 14%, up 2%. Volkswagen's global sales increased, while sales in China declined slightly.

Deliveries of 4,444 all-electric vehicles struggled, but North America saw good growth. The Volkswagen Group reported an increase in deliveries by one in the first half of this year.
