The launch date for Volvo's C40 Recharge EV in India has been confirmed. On June 14, the company will introduce the vehicle here. This will be the Swedish luxury automaker's second electric vehicle to be sold in India after the Volvo XC40 Recharge, which is currently available and attracting a lot of interest.

The C40 Recharge will make its premiere in India on June 14 ahead of Volvo's planned later-in-the-year launch of the vehicle there. The C40 Recharge is offered in the global market with a single motor for rear-wheel drive and a dual motor for all-wheel drive, both of which are based on the CMA platform that Volvo and Geely jointly developed. Which would enter the Indian market has not been disclosed by the company.
