The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure bike gets power from the same high compression 373cc 4-stroke single-cylinder engine capable of generating 42.9 bhp of power and 37 Nm maximum torque. This adventure bike also packs a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and bi-directional quick-shifter.
An active participant in the Dakar Rally, KTM launched its all-new 390 Adventure with rally-inspired graphics to showcase the brand's dominance in the event. KTM has provided a new Rally Orange color scheme while keeping standard features like split LED headlamps, 2-step adjustable windscreen, and handguards, as available in previous models. This adventure bike also retains its 14.5-liter fuel tank and wide seats.
The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure bike gets major updates in its chassis. The bike now fits WP Apex compression and rebound adjustable upside-down forks. This new fitting can facilitate 30 clicks of compression and rebound. At the same time, the rear WP Apex mono-shock suspension can now support a 20-click rebound. Further, KTM has maintained the 10-click preload adjustability and steel trellis frame with bolt-on subframe, the same as the predecessor.
The 2023 KTM Adventure now has spoked wheels wrapped in Metzeler Tourance tubeless dual-purpose tires. Moreover, the bike maker has offered Bybre brakes with 320mm front and 230mm rear disc options.
This serious off-roading bike includes additional features like two riding modes (street and off-road), cornering ABS, and all the previous models' goodies. The brand has also provided the 5-inch color TFT display, as in previous models.
As the company has added new hardware and features to its 2023 390 Adventure bike, customers will require to pay Rs 21,000 more compared to previous iterations. The new KTM Adventure 390 bike is now priced at Rs 3.60 lakh, Delhi ex-showroom.
KTM 390 Adventure X is also on offer and priced at Rs 2.80 lakh. This KTM bike carries out the same hardware available in the 390 Adventure but misses out on some rider aids. Another model, 390 Adventure, with previous hardware and almost similar specifications, is available at Rs 3.39 lakh, Delhi ex-showroom.
2023 KTM Adventure 390, with new hardware and additional features, will be capable of delivering enhanced performance in serious off-roading and adventure rides. However, to enjoy the ride on the new Adventure 390, customers must pay an additional Rs 21,000, which might seem value for money for a new chassis and additional updates.
