Hero MotoCorp dealerships are also accepting bookings, expanding accessibility to a wider audience of enthusiasts.

The Harley-Davidson X440, launched in India at an attractive price point starting from Rs. 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom), has been warmly received. This disruptive pricing strategy aims to challenge Royal Enfield and Triumph's new Speed 400, expanding the brand's reach to a wider audience. Deliveries have commenced, and interestingly, select Hero MotoCorp dealerships are also authorized to accept bookings for the Harley-Davidson X440.
Capital Harley Delhi recently shared a picture of one of the first Harley-Davidson X440 buyers from the Delhi NCR region. The X440 takes design cues from its larger sibling, the Nightster. It is available in three trim levels: Denim, Vivid, and S. The range-topping S trim, priced up to Rs. 2.69 lakh, offers additional features such as Bluetooth connectivity, dual-tone machined alloy wheels, and other noteworthy enhancements.
Several Hero MotoCorp dealerships in Bengaluru and Pune have been authorized by the company to facilitate bookings for the Harley-Davidson X440. Interested customers can find the list of these dealerships during the booking process on the official website.
Traditionally associated with high-priced, chrome-clad choppers and cruisers, Harley-Davidson has taken a new approach with the X350 in China and the X440 in India, in collaboration with QJ and Hero MotoCorp, respectively. The competitive pricing of the X440, starting at Rs. 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom), poses a direct challenge to Royal Enfield's popular Classic 350 at a slightly higher price point. In return, Harley-Davidson offers the allure of the brand and a larger engine, providing significantly more performance compared to the 350cc segment.
The Harley-Davidson X440 boasts a robust powertrain, delivering 27 bhp of power and 38 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Hero emphasizes the extensive use of metal in the X440, appealing to its target demographic. The motorcycle features disc brakes on both ends, dual-channel ABS, 43mm USD telescopic forks, dual shock absorbers at the rear, and full LED lighting, among other notable specifications.
The X440 offers decent features, including a fully digital circular instrument console. It supports Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone compatibility, turn-by-turn navigation, notification alerts, and more, enhancing the overall riding experience.
With the launch of the Harley-Davidson X440, the brand has made owning a dream Harley more affordable for enthusiasts. Deliveries have commenced, and the inclusion of select Hero MotoCorp dealerships as booking centres further expands the accessibility of this thrilling motorcycle. With its aggressive pricing, powerful performance, and notable features, the Harley-Davidson X440 aims to create a new segment in the Indian market while enticing riders with the iconic Harley-Davidson experience.
