Honda Launches Transalp 750 at Rs 10.99 Lakh, Deliveries from November 2023

Honda has launched its Transalp 750 in India with a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The motorcycle will be offered in two color schemes, Ross White and Matte Ballistic Black. Honda Transalp gets power from a liquid-cooled 755cc parallel twin engine capable of delivering 72 HP and 75 Nm of torque. The same engine option is available in international models other than Honda big bikes.

The India-spec Transalp 750 bike has a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch and a bi-directional quick-shifter. The bike gets a diamond steel frame suspended by a USD fork and mono-shock configuration.

The curb weight of this Honda bike is 208 kg, making it one of the lightest multi-cylinder ADV bikes in the market. Moreover, the Honda Transalp 750 rides on tubed wire-spoke rims measuring 90/90-21 (in front) and 150/70-R18 (in rear).

The international model has an ideal seat height of 850 mm, while the low seat option takes it down to 820 mm. However, the seat size for the India-spec model is yet to be revealed in the coming months.

With an ex-showroom price of Rs 10.99 lakh, the Honda CBU Transalp 750 is still priced competitively as compared to its European rivals, including the BMW F 850 GS, priced at Rs 12.95 lakh, and the Triumph Tiger 850 Sport, priced at Rs 11.95 lakh.
