Hyundai India recently announced safety feature updates for its cars sold in the Indian market, and now all variants of Hyundai cars will get six airbags as standard.

Hyundai India recently announced safety feature updates for its cars sold in the Indian market, and now all variants of Hyundai cars will get six airbags as standard. The automaker has already offered the six airbags system in its Aura, Grand i10 Nios, and the Venue, which has now expanded to Alcazar as well.

Hyundai Alcazar Gets Safety Boost with Six Airbags

Previously, the Hyundai Alcazar was sold with only two airbags in the Indian market, which has now been replaced with six airbags across all variants of Alcazar. With this newest update, Hyundai has become the first automotive company to offer six airbags as standard in its entire lineup.

Last month, the automaker revealed its new generation Verna, which got a five-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test, and now anticipates preparing a lineup of car models for the Bharat NCAP crash test; the list can be announced by December 2023.

The recent safety update shows Hyundai’s commitment to making its cars safer and more secure for occupants. Also, it exemplifies the company’s effort to make its offering more appealing to Indian car buyers.
