Hyundai Exter is getting launch on 10th July at this Price

Hyundai plans to launch a new subcompact SUV in the Indian market. It will be called Exter and will be released on July 10. The manufacturer has received pre-orders for the Exter. Initially, Exter will be at the bottom of Hyundai's portfolio.

The new subcompact SUV will compete with the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Citroen C3, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite. Exter will share its platform with the Grand i10 Nios.

Hyundai Exter was spotted testing ahead of its launch on July 10th, 2023. The Exter is a subcompact SUV that promises to challenge Tata Punch's established dominance. Since the Santro brand's decision, Hyundai has been working to make the Exter the most affordable SUV in its Indian portfolio. SUVs are on trend this season and Hyundai used its global database to make sure there are some available SUVs in every segment of our market.

Exterior Design:

The exterior is heavily camouflaged. However, we saw the first product-specific version roll off the assembly line a few days ago. That's why we can tie the exterior design with thick fabric. Up front, we see a separate LED light on the hood and the signature H-shaped LED daytime running light and main headlight in the slot on the umbrella mother. The roof rail and black alloy wheels are also clearly visible.

Features and Specifications:

As a modern car, the cabin will have a host of modern technologies and useful features such as a smart electric sunroof and a built-in windshield with dual cameras. In addition, the small SUV will come with 6 airbags with 26 safety features to choose from in entry-level trims (E and S). The drivetrain is likely to be shared with the current Grand i10 Nios hatchback.

Hyundai is India's largest manufacturer of SUVs, with the hugely popular Creta and Venue. Tucson is also a good product, but due to the market it belongs to, it does not contribute much to the overall sales. In an environment where consumers want SUVs, an affordable subcompact SUV like the Exter does well.

Despite its small size, it lacks performance. We also see that the segment is controlled by Punch, which shows the demand for SUVs. Exter just makes the competition tougher by giving buyers more choice.

Powering the Exter will be a 1..2-litre,four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. It produces 83 bhp and 114 Nm. It will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT. There will be a CNG powertrain on offer as well which will come only with a manual gearbox.

Hyundai says that Exter will be the most affordable Micro Suv with lots of features. The price will be expected to fit around 6 lakhs.
