Hyundai i20 facelift launch in India at the price of ₹ 6.99 lakh

Hyundai's 2023 i20 Facelift Hits Indian Roads

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has just launched the new 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift in India. This exciting update starts at just Rs 6.99 lakhs and goes up to Rs 11.01 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Variants and Colors:

The car is available in six variants: Magna, Sportz, Asta, Asta (O), Asta Turbo DCT, and Asta Turbo iMT. It comes in nine colour options: Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, Starry Night, Metallic Copper, Amazon Grey (new), Thunder Blue (new), and Aurora Green (new).

Exterior Look:

The 2023 i20 facelift brings a fresh look to this popular premium hatchback. The front of the car has a new grille, LED daytime running lights, and a redesigned bumper. Hyundai's logo now sits above the grille. The side looks mostly the same but has new 16-inch alloy wheels. The back has a new bumper, tail lamps, and a chrome strip.

Interior Makeover:

Inside, the i20 facelift has a new gray and black theme. It boasts semi-leather seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, leatherette door armrests, and ambient lighting. The car features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a Bose sound system with seven speakers, a sunroof, wireless charging, and soothing ambient nature sounds.

Safety Features:

Safety is a top priority with 26 standard safety features across all variants. These include six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), hill assist control (HAC), vehicle stability management (VSM), rear parking sensors and camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), automatic headlights, and headlamp escort function.

It also includes Hyundai’s Blue Link connected car technology with remote access, vehicle health reports, emergency assistance, and geo-fencing.

Engine Options:

The i20 facelift offers three engine options: a 1.2-liter petrol engine, a 1.5-liter diesel engine, and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. Transmission options include manual, intelligent variable transmission (IVT), six-speed manual, and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

Competition:

The new i20 facelift competes with other premium hatchbacks like Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Tata Altroz, and Honda Jazz in the Indian market.

With these updates, the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift aims to provide a stylish, feature-packed, and safe driving experience for Indian car enthusiasts.
