Real Madrid Striker Karim Benzema was awarded the prestigious 2022 Ballon d'Or. The French-striker has been at the top of his game the entire year and today we are looking at his car collection.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has been named the 2022 Ballon d'Or winner. Last season, the 34-year-old scored 44 goals in 46 games as Real Madrid won the Champions League, another LaLiga title, as well as the Spanish and European Super Cups. In a ceremony in Paris, Benzema was crowned ahead of Sadio Mane in second and Kevin De Bruyne in third, with the striker becoming the first French winner of the Ballon D'Or since Zinedine Zidane, who presented him with the award, in 1998.

Benzema flaunted his latest cool whip, a £2.5 million Bugatti Chiron, on Instagram. In terms of performance, the hypercar completely outperforms the already excellent Veyron. Its top speed is limited to 420 kmph, although it can achieve 0-100 kmph in less than 2.5 seconds and 300 kmph in 13.6 seconds.

Dude, It's not just a hypercar, but it's a hyper hypercar.

Benzema's Mercedes Benz-SLR takes pride of place in his garage, and rightly so. It's the Stirling Moss edition version, which costs roughly £750k and can accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds. The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (C199 / R199 / Z199) is a grand tourer jointly developed by German automotive manufacturer Mercedes-Benz and British automobile manufacturer McLaren Automotive. SLR is an abbreviation for "Sport Leicht Rennsport" (Sport Light Racing), an ode to the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR that inspired the automobile.
