MG One SUV getting ready for a July 30 debut

MG One SUV is gearing up for its debut on July 30, 2021. Ahead of its global launch, the MG One SUV teasers are doing the rounds showcasing the vehicle’s futuristic design language.

MG One SUV – The Design

The teaser images show the MG One SUV to come with an aggressive and sporty design. The frontal fascia gets an overhaul by featuring a low-set wide grille flanked by striking headlamps, an L-shaped cut in the front bumper, and prominent creases along the bonnet.

The roof tapers down towards the rear, giving the SUV a more coupe-like appearance. Nevertheless, the prominent haunches, excessive cladding along the lower doors and wheel arches, and sporty dual-tone wheels reinforce the SUV look. In addition, the roof-mounted spoiler looks prominent around the rear with exquisite LED tail lamps.

MG One SUV – Technology Personified

While MG One SUV will be built on a new SIGMA modular architecture, MG has revealed specific other details. MG's reference to the architecture as "all-in-one" suggests that it could form the base for other vehicles in the future.

MG revelations include introducing advanced electric architecture, hardcore software technology, and an active digital ecosystem for the upcoming One SUV. Hence, one can expect a whole load of technological features from semi-autonomous tech to the state-of-the-art info system and connected car technologies.

MG Motor India – The Plans

While MG One SUV is not on the cards for an Indian launch soon, the next MG product for India could be the petrol version of the ZS EV. This vehicle could feature updated styling and be rebadged as MG Astor, thus, setting it apart from the ZS EV.
