Expected Price and Specification of new Citroen e-C3 launch in January 2023

The eC3 name for the Citroen C3 hatchback's all-electric variant has been officially announced by Citroen. The brand-new Citroen eC3 is anticipated to debut in the world soon and go on sale in India the following month, or in January 2023.

According to sources, the 30.2kWh power battery will be used in the Citroen e-C3. It will be made up of LFP cells manufactured by the Chinese company Svolt. The vehicle will be equipped with a CCS2 fast charger and a 3.3kW onboard AC charger.

There are a few parts and components that will be used in both Citroen C3 and Citroen eC3 because of the localised market in a large area. It has been done to reduce the overall cost- For example, Mechanical parts, interiors and typical body structure.

The sole visual difference between the e-C3 and its petrol-powered version is the charging outlet, which is positioned on the front fender. Overall the interior will be some but the drive controller will get replaced from the place of the gearstick in the petrol variant.

Citroen is convinced that it can offer the e-C3 at a competitive price, and even though neither the price nor the positioning has been disclosed, it is reasonable to presume they will fall in the Rs 10–12 lakh range.
