Kia Motors India recently released a second short teaser video of the 2023 Sonet facelift, set to launch on 14th of December. The compact SUV is Kia's second most selling product in India. However, it has been facing intensive competition from rivals like the Maruti Brezza, the recently updated Hyundai Venue, the newly launched Tata Nexon facelift, etc. Therefore, to make the Kia Sonet more relevant in the segment Kia is finally all set to launch its facelift. ADAS (Advance Driver Assistance System) In The New 2023 Kia Sonet Facelift

The recently updated Hyundai Venue became the first car in the compact SUV segment to offer ADAS tech. Also, the leaked images of the production ready Kia Sonet facelift clearly show an ADAS camera on the top of the windshield. However, it would be a camera based level-1 ADAS just like the one in Hyundai Venue.

The new Tata Nexon facelift became the first compact SUV in India to come with a fully digital instrument cluster display (driver's display). The upcoming Kia Sonet facelift will also get a fully digital instrument cluster (driver's display). Moreover, the latest second teaser video from Kia also confirms this. One can easily see the digital display with front collision warning in front of the driver in the teaser video. We expect Kia to use the same 10.25 inch fully digital instrument cluster from the new Seltos facelift in the upcoming Sonet facelift.

Rear Tail Lamps With Connected LED Design In The New 2023 Kia Sonet Facelift

The Hyundai Venue and the new Tata Nexon facelift are the two cars that offer a connected LED lightbar design in the rear. Moreover the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 facelift is also expected to offer it. Thus, to stay updated with this new design trend, Kia is set to offer the connected LED tail lamp in the new Sonet facelift. However, it is yet to be known if it would be a dynamic one like the new Tata Nexon or a static one like Hyundai Venue.

LED Fog Lamps In the New 2023 Kia Sonet Facelift

The ongoing model of Kia Sonet comes with halogen front fog lamps. However, the latest teaser video released by Kia Sonet clearly shows the LED fog lamps in the front. The newly launched Tata Nexon facelift and the Maruti Suzuki Brezza are the only two models in the segment that offer front LED fog lamps. This feature will add to the premium appeal of the new Kia Sonet facelift.

New Alloy Wheel Design In The New 2023 Kia Sonet Facelift

With the facelifted Sonet, Kia is set to introduce a new alloy wheel design that looks more stylish and complements Sonet’s ‘Wild by Design’ tagline. The regular top end variant of the new Kia Sonet are expected to get this new alloy wheel with dual tone diamond cut design but the X-Line variant of the new Sonet facelift will likely get an all black alloy of the same design.
