Rohit Sharma Issued Traffic Challan for Overspeeding His Lamborghini

The star cricketer Rohit Sharma has reportedly issued three challans for overspeeding his Lamborghini Urus on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, according to a PuneMirror report.

According to reports, Rohit Sharma was on his way to Pune to join his Team for the India-Bangladesh match as part of World Cup 2023. The India-Bangladesh cricket match is set to take place today, October 19, 2023, at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Traffic authorities stated that cricketer Rohit Sharma was driving very high speed, reaching 215 kmph many times. The maximum limit set for the Mumbai-Pune Expressway is 100 kmph, indicating the cricketer was driving his Lamborghini Urus over twice the speed limit. Taking the matter into consideration, Sharma was issued three traffic challans.

A source from the Traffic Department raised a concern about the Indian cricket team captain overspeeding on busy highways during the World Cup, urging him to use the team bus with a police escort.
