New Renault Duster: Expected Features, Hybrid Option & Limited Availability in India. Renault-Nissan to launch 6 new products.

The latest model of the Renault Duster has been spotted undergoing road tests in Europe. The test vehicle is heavily disguised, but some of its exterior features are visible. The new Duster bears a striking resemblance to the Dacia Bigster concept car that was unveiled in 2021, and its overall shape and silhouette are very similar. This suggests that the new Duster will share some design elements with the Bigster, and may also offer similar features and capabilities.
The third-generation Renault Duster is expected to launch in India in 2025, where it will compete with other popular SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota HyRyder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and upcoming Honda compact SUV. The new Duster is expected to be available in both 5-seat and 7-seat configurations, providing plenty of space for families and groups of friends.
From the spy shots of the new Duster, it's clear that the vehicle is larger than its predecessor. The 360-degree view of the car shows that it has an imposing presence on the road, and is likely to be very capable off-road as well. With its rugged good looks and spacious interior, the new Renault Duster is sure to be a hit with SUV enthusiasts who are looking for a vehicle that is both practical and stylish.
The upcoming model of the Renault Duster will be built on a new platform called the CMF-B platform, whereas the previous generation was built on the B0 platform. The new platform is expected to offer several benefits, including the ability to support more advanced features than the outgoing model. The CMF-B platform is also designed to be more flexible, which should allow Renault to incorporate a wider range of powertrain options.

One of the most noticeable differences between the outgoing Duster and the upcoming model is the size. The new Duster appears to have larger dimensions than the previous generation, which should translate into more space on the inside. The current Duster measures 4.37 meters in length, while the Bigster concept, which the new Duster is based on, is expected to be around 4.6 meters long. The new Duster is likely to be somewhere in between these two lengths.
The larger dimensions of the new Duster are also expected to improve its street presence, making it more imposing and eye-catching on the road. This, combined with the advanced features enabled by the CMF-B platform, should make the new Duster an attractive option for SUV enthusiasts who are looking for a vehicle that is both practical and stylish.
The upcoming model of the Renault Duster is expected to feature several key exterior design elements, including sleek headlamps, a full-width LED bar, a wide air intake, a sculpted bonnet design, squarish wheel arches, body-coloured rear view mirrors with integrated turn signals, roof rails, sporty alloy wheels, C-pillar mounted rear door handles, edgy tail lamps, and a layered spoiler. These design features are likely to give the new Duster a bold and dynamic look that will help it stand out in the crowded SUV market.

On the inside, the new-gen Duster is expected to come with a range of premium features. These may include automatic climate control, a large touchscreen infotainment system, a dedicated connectivity suite, and a premium sound system. The cabin of the new Duster is likely to be spacious and comfortable, providing ample room for passengers and their luggage.
In terms of safety, the new Duster is expected to come with a range of advanced features, including six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, parking sensors, and a camera. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are also likely to be introduced in the new-gen Duster, providing additional safety and convenience features such as lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
New-gen Renault Duster is expected to get a hybrid option, in addition to the ICE powertrain. It is expected to be a mild-hybrid setup, powered by a small battery pack. A plug-in-hybrid version is unlikely at the time of launch.

However, it can be considered for a later date. The availability of a hybrid option will depend on the market. While front-wheel drive will be standard, top-spec variants of the new-gen Duster could get an all-wheel drive option.
In India, Duster New Gen SUV is likely to be limited to ICE powertrains. This is as per the company’s strategy to electrify its entry-level products while continuing with ICE powertrains for its C-segment cars.
Renault-Nissan will be launching 6 new products, as part of their renewed strategy for the Indian market. There will be three products and their respective rebadged versions. It remains to be seen if the new-gen Duster can reclaim its
