In January 2024, Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed robust sales performance, marking a double-digit year-on-year growth of almost 13%. The total sales stood at 95,762 units, showcasing a significant increase compared to the same period last year. This report aims to delve deeper into the sales figures, analysing both month-on-month (MoM) and year-on-year (YoY) growth rates across domestic and export markets.

Suzuki Two Wheelers MoM Growth 

Domestic Sales: In January 2024, Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed a surge in domestic sales, with figures reaching 80,511 units compared to 69,025 units in December 2023. This represents a significant MoM growth of 16.64%..

Export Sales: The export segment also experienced a substantial MoM growth, with sales soaring to 15,251 units in January 2024 from 10,458 units in December 2023. This translates to an impressive growth rate of 45.83%.

Total Sales: Combining domestic and export sales, Suzuki Motorcycle India achieved a total sales figure of 95,762 units in January 2024, marking a remarkable MoM growth of 20.48%. This indicates a strong overall performance and reflects the company's ability to meet the evolving needs of customers across different markets.

Suzuki Two Wheelers YoY Growth 

Domestic Sales: In January 2024, Suzuki Motorcycle India showed a remarkable increase in domestic sales, with figures reaching 80,511 units. This represents a substantial year-on-year growth of 21.60%.

Export Sales: Despite the robust performance in the domestic market, Suzuki Motorcycle India encountered challenges in the export segment. Export volumes saw a decline of 18.69% compared to January 2023, with figures standing at 15,251 units.

Total Sales: The total sales figures for January 2024 reached 95,762 units, reflecting a year-on-year growth rate of 12.7%. While the domestic market drove overall growth, the decline in export volumes tempered the overall performance.
