Tata Nexon facelift to get ADAS and Cool Safety features

Recent spy images indicate that Tata Motors is in the process of updating the Nexon, with a potential launch date in the near future. Further details have been uncovered about the revamped sub-four metre SUV from the manufacturer. 

Notably, the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift will feature ADAS technology, which is already present in its larger counterparts such as the Harrier and Safari. The addition of this feature in the Nexon is a logical step towards equipping the vehicle with the latest safety technology.

Additionally, sources suggest that the updated Nexon will feature a redesigned steering wheel, which will incorporate the Tata Curvv technology that has been showcased previously. 

In terms of aesthetics, the refreshed model is anticipated to feature a revamped front fascia, with the inclusion of an LED light bar at the front and rear, as well as new alloy wheels.

Tata Nexon Facelift: Engine

While information regarding the powertrain options of the Nexon facelift is currently scarce, it is likely that the vehicle will be equipped with the same 1.5-litre diesel engine that is currently available, mated to both manual and automatic transmissions. 

However, there are indications that the petrol engine may be replaced by a new unit that was showcased at the recent Auto Expo in 2023. This new engine reportedly has a power output of 123bhp and a torque output of 225Nm, representing an improvement over the current petrol engine, which generates 118bhp and 170Nm of torque.
