Tata Motors has now finally started installing ADAS features on their SUV. Check out what cool features it has.

Although there are many cars in the market with Advanced Driver Assistant Systems) ADAS features, brands like Mahindra and Mahindra, MG Motor and Hyundai Motor equipped their higher models with ADAS.
Now Tata Motors also focuses on Introducing new ADAS features in its SUVs. Today Tata Motors launched the red dark edition of tata nexon and on Friday 22nd they launched Tata Safari and Harrier's red dark edition.
All Safari and Harrier models have Advanced Driver Assistance System features that smooth the driving experience. In Tata Nexon and Punch, they haven’t introduced ADAS features yet.
Now let's look at what ADAS features Tata Safari and Harrier have.
Although there are almost the same ADAS features in other competing brands tata motors do not have features like Adaptive Cruise Control.
It helps a lot on highways or anywhere where you are driving fast. Whenever any person or vehicle shows up in front of your car, it will give you an emergency braking warning. It also triggers a voice alert so that the driver gets focused. Not only that your vehicle will be stopped before the collision.
Sometimes it happens to us and we have also seen that when the driver opens the door it hits somebody who is just passing by. The sensor gives an alert for incoming traffic and also rings an alarm if anyone is about to get off the vehicle.
It's one of the most interesting ADAS features that have been installed in Tata harrier and Safari Red Dark Edition. The Sensors in the vehicle look scan the surroundings and calculate the distance and speed between the two vehicles. After it alerts the driver and triggers a warning of a forward collision.
Just as a Forward collision warning it also helps to prevent rear collision.
This feature comes in handy while changing lanes, sometimes it gets tricky for the driver to see the vehicles coming from the side. The sensor detects the approaching vehicle and alerts the driver on the ORVMS with a voice warning.
This feature alerts the driver beforehand when the vehicle is about deviate from the lane. But it only works when the roads have good lane marking like on highways. You will get an alert when the vehicle is about to change the lane.
Have you ever tried to park your vehicle in a crowded place? It will become more difficult to safely put your vehicle in the right parking spot. This ADAS feature will guide and inform you about the vehicle that is moving beside or behind your vehicle. You will get proper surrounding information via sensors present in the Tata Harrier Red Dark edition.
It happens on or on any road at night when the vehicle has high beam light turned on. The chances of accidents increase as it blinds the driver coming up from the opposite side. So this feature adjusts the high beam light and regulates it when it senses that the vehicle is coming from the front it switches to a low beam after it gets passed, it switches back to a high beam.
Do you get confused or sometimes miss the traffic signs on the road? Then this ADAS feature will help you to follow up. The sensor detects the upcoming traffic signboard and sends a trigger warning to the driver about the signboard and displays it on the screen.
I hope you liked the information about the new ADAS feature of Tata Harrier and Safari. To check the announcements of the 2023 Tata harrier click here to see launch price specs and more.
