Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is an economical car and therefore the pricing starts at ₹ 3.77 Lakh and goes upto ₹ 5.25 Lakh. The Petrol version starts from ₹ 3.77 Lakh onwards upto₹ 5.05 Lakh and CNG version of S-Presso is priced between ₹ 4.95 Lakh - ₹ 5.25 Lakh. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is offered in six trims and six colour options in India. The premise of S-Presso is based on the Heartec platform which is powered by an impact absorbing structure. Since inception, the company has been talking about the USP of the best-in-class turning radius of 4.5-metres which is unbeatable in this segment. Moreover, S-Presso has been introduced as mini-SUV in Indian market. Its dimensions are 3,565mm length, 1,520mm width, 1,564/1,549mm height and has a wheelbase of 2,380mm. The company is upfront about its SUV-like characteristics with its high, upright stance, decent and sustainable ground clearance and bold and broad design. The fascia appears to be very inspiring and looks similar to Brezza as claimed by the company. In terms of features S- Presso offers squared headlights and slim grille with chrome inserts. Additionally, the vehicle also features a muscular dual tone bumper for an SUV like vehicle. The rear section looks rectangular tail lamps and a dual-tone bumper with integrated reflectors. The interior of the car within the cabin has been trimmed out in black with orange inserts on the dashboard and side AC vents. The seats carry a red pattern stitching which get non-adjustable headrests both in the front and back. Some of the standard feature list to this segment are centrally mounted instrument cluster, touchscreen system with Maruti Smart Play studio, dual front airbags, USB and 12-volt switch, steering mounted controls. The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is strengthened by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 67bhp/90Nm. This engine can have five-speed manual or a five-speed AGS. Maruti confirmed that the Standard and the LXi variants return a fuel efficiency figure of 21.4kmpl, while the VXi and the VXi+ variants in both manual and AGS version return a fuel efficiency figure of 21.7kmpl. In Indian market, the car completes with Renault Kwid and the Datsun redi-GO.
