New Ather 450 Apex about to launch | Check out Specs and Price

Ather Energy, the Bengaluru-based electric vehicle startup, has unveiled its latest product, the 450 Apex, on its 10th anniversary. The 450 Apex is claimed to be the fastest electric scooter from the company, with a top speed of 100 km/h and a 0-40 km/h acceleration time of 2.9 seconds.

The 450 Apex is based on the 450X platform but with some key differences. The 450 Apex gets a new red and black color scheme, a sportier suspension setup, and a larger battery pack of 4.2 kWh. The scooter also features a new Warp+ mode, which offers more torque and power than the regular Warp mode on the 450X.

The 450 Apex will be available in limited numbers, and only for the existing customers of Ather Energy. The company has not revealed the exact price of the scooter, but it is expected to be higher than the 450X, which costs ₹ 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru) after subsidies. The deliveries of the 450 Apex will begin in early 2024.

The 450 Apex will compete with other high-performance electric scooters in the market, such as the Revolt RV400, the Bounce Infinity E1, and the upcoming Hero Vida. Ather Energy is also expanding its presence across the country, with new experience centers and fast-charging stations. The company aims to have a presence in 100 cities by the end of 2024.
