Ather Energy's highly anticipated electric scooter, Rizta, was recently unveiled during a TVC shoot without camouflage, offering a clear view of its design. Launch set for April 6 at Ather Community Day.

Key Highlights:
Ather Energy is going to introduce the most awaited electric scooter Rizta. However, the scooter has been spotted recently in a TVC shoot. During the shoot the scooted had no camouflage, hence we have a better view of what this scooter has to offer. Launch of Rizta is scheduled for April 6, on the Community Day Event of Ather Energy.
The Rizta's design language takes a departure from the sleek and sporty aesthetics of the Ather 450 series, catering to a slightly more mature audience with its boxy yet functional bodywork. The scooter's overall dimensions appear notably large, emphasizing practicality over mere visual appeal. Its elongated floorboard and spacious seat provide ample room for two adults, complemented by a capacious boot space, ideal for urban commuting needs.
A distinctive feature noticed during the reveal is the single-piece grab rail with an accompanying backrest, suggesting additional comfort and convenience options that may be available as accessories for the Rizta EV. Furthermore, the two-tone color scheme observed on the seat cover indicates a thoughtful design approach aimed at enhancing visual aesthetics.
Previous spy shots have unveiled the Rizta's horizontal LED bar-style headlight and tail light setup, hinting at modern lighting solutions akin to those seen on the Ather 450X. While detailed specifications remain undisclosed, expectations are high for the inclusion of a color TFT display with smartphone connectivity, aligning with Ather's reputation for integrating advanced technology into its products.

Although specifics regarding the motor and battery remain elusive, insights into the Rizta's hardware suggest a conventional setup, featuring telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Unlike its sibling, the 450X, the Rizta appears to adopt a front disc and rear drum brake configuration, possibly supported by a single-channel ABS setup, anchored to 12-inch alloy wheels.
In terms of user experience, the Rizta is anticipated to retain a manual key-operated system reminiscent of the Ather 450 range, ensuring familiarity for existing customers transitioning to the new model.
The official launch of the Ather Rizta electric scooter is scheduled for April 6th, coinciding with the Ather Community Day event in Bengaluru. With an expected price range of Rs. 1.25 – 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom), the Rizta is poised to enter the market as a formidable competitor to the TVS iQube range, offering discerning riders a compelling blend of functionality, style, and cutting-edge technology.
Though we can conclude a lot from the spotted images, we must wait till its official launch to know what Ather has brought to its audience. Ather Energy by introducing Rizta will not only insure its market dominance but also showcase its efforts to keep its product customer-centric.
