Mahindra SUVs: Reduced Waiting Times for Scorpio-N, XUV700, and Thar

Scaling Up Deliveries for the Festive Season:

Mahindra and Mahindra have been ramping up production to meet client demand for its flagship SUVs ahead of the holiday season. According to the most recent information, the waiting period for SUVs such as the Scorpio-N, XUV700, and Thar has significantly decreased in recent weeks.

The company presently has roughly 2.80 lakh vehicles ready to be delivered to consumers who have reserved them. The Scorpio-N, Mahindra's most recent SUV, has the highest demand of any of its vehicles. The Scorpio is also the carmaker's best-selling SUV brand. Here's how long you'll have to wait to drive a new Mahindra Scorpio-N, XUV700, or Thar SUV.

Scorpio-N: Shorter Waiting Times:

The Scorpio-N SUV, which used to have a waiting period of over a year a few months ago, now promises delivery in as little as eight weeks from the booking date. The exact wait time depends on the variant and location.

Customers wanting the top-spec petrol engine variant might need to wait the longest, while diesel versions of the top-end Z8 variant could take up to 55 weeks for delivery. The Scorpio-N offers five variants with prices ranging from ₹13.26 lakh to ₹24.53 lakh (ex-showroom).

XUV700: Less Than a Year's Wait:

The flagship XUV700 SUV, available in five and seven-seat versions, now comes with a waiting period of less than a year. The maximum wait time is 40 weeks, primarily for the low and mid-spec variants with petrol and diesel engine options.

Manual variants may be delivered in eight to 17 weeks, while the top-spec AX7 variants, with both petrol and diesel options, can take between 24 and 34 weeks. The XUV700 is offered in five variants, with prices ranging from ₹14.03 lakh to ₹26.57 lakh (ex-showroom).

Thar: The Longest Wait:

Among all Mahindra SUVs, the Thar SUV has the longest waiting period. It could take up to 70 weeks from the booking date to get your Thar delivered. In August, some variants had waiting times as high as 18 months.

Demand for the rear-wheel drive variant is the highest. The Thar SUV comes in 2WD and 4WD versions, with options for hard-top and soft-top variants. The price for this iconic off-roader ranges from ₹14.03 lakh to ₹16.93 lakh (ex-showroom).
