Mahindra XUV300 price hiked by up to Rs. 22,000

Mahindra and Mahindra have updated their sub-compact SUV XUV300 with new engines that comply with stricter emission norms effective from April 1. The new engines are compliant with RDE norms, making them compatible with ethanol-based fuel. 

Consequently, Mahindra has increased the prices of all XUV300 variants by up to Rs. 22,000. The W4 and W6 petrol manual variants are the only ones that have not seen a price hike.

The XUV300 competes with Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet in the sub-compact SUV segment. The new prices, which took effect this month, are at least Rs. 15,000 more than the old prices for both petrol and turbo petrol variants.

For petrol variants, Mahindra has increased the price of the W6 automatic and all other variants in the W8, with the W6 automatic being the most expensive, costing Rs. 20,000 more. 

In the turbo petrol variants, all variants have seen an increase of at least Rs. 15,000, with the top two variants, W8(O) and W8(O) dual-tone, experiencing a hike of Rs. 20,000. 

The new price range for petrol variants is between Rs. 8.41 lakh and Rs. 13.21 lakh (ex-showroom).

For diesel variants, Mahindra has increased the prices of the W4, W6, and W8 manual with sunroof variants by Rs. 20,000, while the top-spec W8(O) manual, automatic, and dual-tone variants have seen an increase of Rs. 22,000. 

The new price range for diesel variants is between Rs. 9.80 lakh and Rs. 14.14 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the variant with the highest hike.
