Mahindra XUV400 Soon to Get Revamped Interiors

Mahindra, India’s biggest SUV manufacturer, launched its XUV400 SUV earlier this year in the Indian market with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 15.99 lakh. The direct rival of Tata Nexon EV is available in two variants. When it was introduced in India, the SUV missed some important features. However, the automaker added eight more features later in August, including TPMS, cruise control, and auto-dimming IRVM electric SUV.

Compared with the top rival Tata Nexon EV, the Mahindra XUV400 seems a dated model that may cater to most driving needs of city users. The automaker recently confirmed that it will soon introduce the Mahindra XUV400 with a revamped interior theme and layout, which may include a fresh dashboard.

With new models of XUV400, the buyers can expect a larger free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, new digital instrument cluster, tweaked HVAC panel, redesigned center console, and aircon vents.

For features, the new Mahindra XUV400 may boast wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an air purifier, a wireless charger, a powered driver seat, a 360-degree surround camera, a premium sound system, and ambient lighting.

Both variants of the Mahindra XUV400 EV have a single motor setup and a battery pack of 34.5 kWh or 39.4 kWh, respectively. While the existing models deliver a top range of 375 km, the new variants can have a top range of 456 km on a single charge.
