New Range Rover Velar launched in India at the price of ₹ 94.30 lakh

Back in July, Land Rover made a big announcement about the refreshed Range Rover Velar, and now it's finally here! You can own this luxury SUV for ₹94.30 lakh (ex-showroom), and the good news is that deliveries are about to start. Let's take a closer look at what this stylish SUV brings to the table.

Tough Competition Awaits

The Range Rover Velar will face off against some tough competitors in India, including the Porsche Macan, Jaguar F-Pace, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Volvo XC90, Audi Q7, and BMW X5. It's all set to make its mark in this crowded field.

One Loaded Variant, Two Engine Options

You'll find the Range Rover Velar in one fully loaded version, but you have a choice between two engines: petrol and diesel. Both are 2.0-litre engines. The petrol engine packs a punch with 296 bhp and 365 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine delivers 201 bhp and 420 Nm.

Both engines come with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Land Rover's Terrain Response 2 system for handling different road conditions. When it comes to speed, the petrol-powered Velar can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.5 seconds, while the diesel version takes a bit longer at 8.3 seconds.

Sleek Exterior Updates

The Range Rover Velar gets a stylish makeover on the outside. It's now equipped with pixel LED headlights and updated LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).
