Ola Electric claims that MoveOS 4 is the most advanced software platform for electric scooters in the world, and that it will continue to update and improve it with over-the-air (OTA) updates. Users can download and install the latest MoveOS updates directly from their phone, without visiting a service centre.
To get the MoveOS 4 update, users need to have the latest version of the Ola Electric app on their phone, and connect their scooter to the app via Bluetooth. The update will be available in batches, and users will receive a notification on their app when it is ready for their scooter. The update process will take about 15 minutes, and users can resume their ride after the update is complete.
Ola Electric launched its S1 and S1 Pro scooters in August 2023, and started delivering them to customers in October 2023.

The scooters are priced at ₹99,999 for the S1 and ₹1,29,999 for the S1 Pro, excluding state subsidies and GST.
