Bajaj to Launch Pulsar NS400 Tomorrow, What to Expect

As Pulsar NS400 is about to launch tomorrow, on 3rd May, which is claimed to be the biggest Pulsar ever by Bajaj, enthusiasts expect it to be an affordable offering under 400cc segment of Pulsar line available in Indian market. Let's look into the expected features and specs which we can see in the Pulsar NS400, which is scheduled to go on sale tomorrow.

Expected Engine

The engine is expected to feature a 373cc liquid-cooled unit, which is inspired from Dominar 400. However, in Dominar 400, the engine boasts a power output of 40 bhp and maximum torque of 35 Nm, and is attached to a 6-speed gearbox. On the other hand, when it comes to the Pulsar NS400 we can expect the engine to get redesigned to be more compatible with the overall features of the bike.

Expected Features

Bluetooth Connectivity and ABS modes namely on On/Off, Rain, and Road will be some of the features included in NS400. Recent revelations have also made expectations on the inclusion of an all new digital instrument console, which has not been featured in any of the models of Pulsar line.

Traction Control like one in Pulsar NS200 can also be expected in new NS400. Just like NS200 we can expect NS400 to be available with a pair of upside-down forks in front and a monoshock at the rear. For the braking system, disc brakes in front and rear both can be seen, along with the feature of dual-channel ABS.

Expected Design

As many buyers and enthusiasts of the Pulsar line are already aware, we can expect to witness a completely new design element in this bike, but at the same time the bike will outline some of the base design elements of NS200. From this we can expect slim tail, split seat, muscular fuel tank, and headlamps with LED DRL.

Expected Price

Since Pulsar NS400 has been compared with Dominar 400, we can expect the bike to be available in the market at a starting price of Rs 2 Lakh ex-showroom, since Dominar is priced at a starting price of Rs 2.17 (Lakh ex-showroom). Once launched in India, NS400 will be competing with KTM 390 Duke, TVS Apache RTR 310, Triumph Speed 400, and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
