The Indian electric two-wheeler market continues to evolve rapidly as consumer demand and government incentives drive the transition to eco-friendly transportation. November 2025 saw a dynamic shift in electric 2W sales, marking the second-highest monthly sales of the year. Some major players are strengthening their positions, while others are losing ground. This status underscores the growing acceptance and increasing demand of electric 2Ws in India.
In November, a total of 116,849 electric two-wheelers, including scooters, motorcycles, and mopeds, were sold across India. This was a slight dip of 3% compared to the previous year but still strong enough to highlight the sector's upward growth and consumer enthusiasm. TVS tops the sales chart for the seventh time in a row, while Hero Vida surpasses Ola Electric. Let's explore the sales of the top 10 electric 2W brands in November 2025.
1. TVS Motors: Reclaims its dominance
TVS Motor Company reaffirmed its dominance in November 2025 by selling 30,309 electric scooters, regaining the top spot in the Indian EV market. This is an 11% year-on-year increase and a strong indicator of TVS's growing consumer trust and expanding EV portfolio. Models like the TVS iQube continue to attract buyers with solid range, build quality, and practical features, making TVS a formidable contender in the electric scooter race.
The brand has topped the electric 2W sales chart for the seventh time in 2025. TVS holds the recorded chartbusters in terms of sales figures from April to September 2025. However, it lost the Rank 1 position in October but still reclaimed it in November 2025.
2. Bajaj Auto
Bajaj Auto closely followed TVS, securing the second position with 25,526 units sold in November. Bajaj’s electric scooter lineup, notably the Bajaj Chetak, blends classic design appeal with modern EV technology, appealing to a broad customer base. The company crossed a significant milestone this year by passing 250,000 units in annual sales, underscoring its scalable manufacturing capabilities and strong brand presence in the EV space.
3. Ather Energy
4. Hero Electric/VIDA: Shows Strong Performance
Hero Electric emerged as a notable gainer, achieving a remarkable 123.4% sales increase, while Vida V2 Pro also impressed by moving up the ranks in the top-selling electric scooters. Hero's expanding lineup addresses the mid-range segment with efficiency and affordability, attracting a wide range of first-time EV buyers. Vida, known for budget-friendly pricing and practical design, supports the mass adoption of electric mobility, especially in price-sensitive markets.
5. Ola Electric: Decline in Market Share
Ola Electric experienced a significant decline in sales, dropping to fifth place with only 8,254 units sold—a steep 49.7% year-over-year decrease. This slide represents a challenging period for the Bengaluru-based company, which had once led the EV two-wheeler segment. Contributing factors include fierce competition, supply chain issues, and shifting consumer preferences. Nonetheless, Ola S1 Pro remains an influential player, expected to respond with new product launches and strategic moves.
