Kawasaki advances in India, patenting Ninja 7 Hybrid & Z e-1 designs. Ninja 7 Hybrid integrates electric motor with traditional engine; Z e-1 enters electric era, promising innovation & disruption.

Key Highlights:
Japanese motorcycle brand Kawasaki keeps on pacing its way into its innovative lineup. With the recent launch of Eliminator, updated Z650 RS, Z900, and all new Ninja 500, the company has now patented the designs for the most anticipated Ninja 7 Hybrid and Z e-1 motorcycles in India.
Unveiling of the Kawasaki Ni ja 7 Hybrid had marked significance in the motorcycle industry. This model is known to be the first of its kind to integrate an electric motor along with the traditional engine. Powered by a 451cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which are so much similar to the one we can find in Eliminator and Ninja 500, Ninja 7 Hybrid boasts a power output of 60 bhp.
By shifting from the traditional; gearbox setups, Kawasaki has opted for paddle shifters positioned on the left side of the handlebar, resulting from Honda’s innovative DCT system. This design choice has reflected Kawasaki’s promise to set new boundaries in terms of advanced and latest technological element inclusion.

Talking about Z e-1, it represents the vision of Kawasaki in the field of electric two-wheeler mobility. The e-bike features a lithium-ion battery, this model promises a range of 72 km in Eco mode, with a top speed of 79 kmph in Road mode and and 56 kmph in Eco mode. The battery takes 7.4 hrs to fully charge.
After the news broke, Indian Kawasaki enthusiasts wanted to know about the launch timeline. However the brand has not disclosed further plans yet. Meanwhile, critics and industry experts have envisaged that the swift transition of the Z500 from EICMA to Indian markets signals the possibility of a debut later this year.

Talking about the expected price details, expectations are high for Ninja 7 Hybrid to be placed above ZX-6R. However, pricing strategy for all-electric Z e-1 remains a debatable topic, as Kawasaki is all set to shake the market with its all new and fresh innovative approach.
With patents secured and anticipation building, Kawasaki enthusiasts eagerly await further announcements regarding the official launch and pricing details of the Ninja 7 Hybrid and Z e-1 in the Indian market. As these cutting-edge models prepare to launch anytime in 2024, all eyes remain firmly fixed on Kawasaki.
