Royal Enfield is all set to begin its Astral Ride on 26th January. The event is meant for the bike enthusiast who love skygazing and capture the night sky in their lens.

Royal Enfield has brought Cosmic Caravan, a group ride to admire and measure the beauty of Rann of Kutch through astrophotography. RE promises the ride to be full of unforgettable experiences and unique for the motorcycling as well as astrophotography enthusiasts.

Date and Registration Fees

As we already know, the event is going to be held from 26th January and last till 3rd February. This event is 9 days, more than a week long. The price for single registration is INR 25,000 (without motorcycle).

Itinerary

Day 1: Ahmedabad Arrival

(26th Jan 2024)

On 26th Jan you will be expected to arrive in Ahmedabad, where you will be provided with quality and comfortable accommodations. Your motorcycle and riding gear will go through a proper inspection. After this everyone will be given a briefing about what to expect and how the upcoming days will be scheduled. You will be welcome on board in this thrilling adventure ride with a Hi Tea and Dinner. 

Day 2: Ahmedabad to Zainabad

(27th Jan 2024)

The 2nd day will unfold by beginning your journey with a 110 km long ride from Ahmedabad to Zainabad. You will get the opportunity to admire the sights of Little Rann of Kutch. What you can do on this day is explore the nearby small remote villages. After exploring the wildlife and fauna you will be provided with a night accommodation at a resort in Zainabad.

Day 3: Zainabad to Dholavira

(28th Jan 2024)

After exploring Zainabad, your next day will start reaching Dholavira by travelling 245 kms. The best part of this motorcycle ride is you will be riding along the little Rann of Kutch while travelling to Dholavira. Dholavira can be considered the most alluring and historic site throughout this journey. This UNESCO World Heritage Site of India, will take you back in history, and make you wonder about the existence of past civilizations and historical events. At the end of the day you will be provided accommodation in a nearby resort. 

Day 4: Dholavira to Dhordo

(29th Jan 2024)

Though Dholavira is known for its own culture and heritage, your caravan is supposed to move forward with the beginning of the 4th day. You will be riding your motorcycle from Dholavira to Dhordo for up to 100 kms. The road between these two locations is known as “Road to Heaven”. As the name suggests, this short road trip will surely leave yourself immersed in the scenic landscape. 

Day 5: Dhordo Tent City Tour

(30th Jan 2024)

Now that you have been travelling so much for the past few days, your day 5 will focus more on exploring the region rather than travelling ahead. You can explore the heritage and cultural vibrance of Dhordo Tent City Tour. Introduce yourself to a new side of Indian Culture, by exploring the food, attire and architecture of the local sites. 

Day 6: Dhordo to Lakhpat Fort

(31st Jan 2024)

Day 6th is again supposed to be the day when you get back to your travelling plans. You will be starting your journey from Dhordo to Lakhpat Fort, which is supposed to be at a distance of 200 kms.

Day 7: Dhordo to Sardar Post

(1st Feb 2024)

You will be leading to Sardar Post on the 7th day. The distance to be covered from Dhordo to Sardar Post is 240 kms. Get the chance to explore the alluring landscape and famous landmarks.

Day 8: Dhordo to Ahmedabad

(2nd Feb 2024)

Day 8th will conclude your expedition with a final ride from Dhordo to Ahmedabad. The complete journey will be 400 km long and will make you reflect on the past 8 days you have spent. 

Day 9: Departure

(3rd Feb 2024)

On 3rd Feb, you will be checking-out from Ahmedabad.
