Experience the future of mobility with Suzuki's electric two-wheeler plan, unveiling new models that will redefine the way we ride by 2030.

Key Highlights:
Suzuki, the renowned Japanese manufacturer, has stepped into the electrified future of two-wheelers with a bold announcement of its plans to introduce eight new electric models by fiscal year 2030. While the specifics of these forthcoming models remain undisclosed, industry analysts anticipate a diverse lineup encompassing both scooters and motorcycles to cater to a broad spectrum of consumers.
The shift towards electric mobility has gained considerable momentum across the globe, allowing Suzuki to align itself with this transformative trend. Although the company has committed to a robust electric portfolio, comprising 25 percent of its total offerings by 2030, the majority of Suzuki's lineup will continue to be fueled by internal combustion engines (ICE).
Emphasising practicality and utility, Suzuki's electric two-wheelers will be targeting the commuting and daily-use segment, with a focus on small and mid-sized models. While these offerings are expected to address the growing demand for eco-friendly urban mobility solutions, Suzuki's approach towards larger motorcycles diverges, with a keen interest in exploring carbon-neutral fuels as an alternative to battery-centric propulsion systems.
Suzuki's foray into electric mobility began with the global debut of the Burgman Electric in October last year. Despite its initial limitations in range, the electric scooter has garnered attention for its eco-conscious design and efficient performance. Anticipating the evolving market demands, Suzuki aims to enhance the Burgman Electric with improved range capabilities before its global rollout, including potential entry into markets like India. However, the official confirmation regarding the scooter's availability in specific regions remains unaddressed.
In addition to the Burgman Electric, industry insiders suggest that Suzuki is actively developing the Access Electric, poised to become the company's maiden electric offering in India. This strategic move underscores Suzuki's commitment to penetrating key markets with tailored electric solutions, aligning with the nation's burgeoning demand for sustainable transportation alternatives.
Suzuki's unveiling of its electric two-wheeler plans signifies a significant milestone in the company's journey towards sustainable mobility solutions. With an ambitious lineup of eight electric models slated for release by 2030, Suzuki is ready to address an automobile industry that is witnessing a paradigm shift. towards electrification.
