Citroen C3

The Citroën C3 is a compact hatchback which is now available in an automatic transmission variant and features updates like a 7-inch driver's display, auto AC, and LED projector headlights.

The exterior design cues of the Citroën C3 are a tall-boy profile, high bonnet, and pronounced plastic cladding along the wheel arches and bumpers. The front fascia features Citroën’s signature dual chrome chevrons that extend into the split headlamp design, flanked by LED daytime running lights. The cues in the rear include squared taillights and an upright hatch with roof rails and optional orange accents. The wheel sizes range from 14-inch steel wheels on lower trims to 15-inch alloys on the top-spec Shine variant.

Step into the Citroën C3, and the interiors greet you with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, complemented by steering-mounted controls, a digital instrument cluster (in higher trims), and a My Citroën Connect app offering 35 connectivity features. With function as the main focus, the spacious cabin is built with hard plastics and basic seat upholstery. The recent updates include adjustable headrests, electrically adjustable ORVMs, a rear parking camera, a day/night IRVM, a rear wiper and washer, and a rear defogger in higher variants.

The safety features within the Citroën C3 include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminders, and a stronger body structure. As of August 2024, Citroën addressed the criticisms regarding safety equipment and made six airbags standard across all variants. Other safety and technical features include remote keyless entry, rear power windows, and a passenger sun visor with a vanity mirror.

The Citroën C3 is available in 2 petrol engine options, which are a 1.2-litre PureTech 82, which is a naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine producing 80 bhp and 115 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The claimed fuel efficiency is 19.8 km/l. The other is a 1.2-litre PureTech 110, which is a turbocharged version delivering 109 bhp and 190 Nm, mated to a 6-speed manual. Claimed fuel efficiency is 19.4 km/l.
